No matter how well you write, how much you write, how many photographs you post, it is impossible to capture Goa. I won’t attempt the impossible and thus I’m summarizing my trip to Goa in 12 shots.
Day-0 : 20th Feb, 2010
Caught a sunrise after a long time, maybe years! Thanks to Indian Railways for not letting me sleep peacefully 🙂

The train journey through Konkan, although very slow, is amazing. Beautiful landscapes everywhere, the train twisting and turning through the Kali River Basin Forests, valleys on one side, mountains on another, Dudhsagar Waterfalls en-route. It is a beautiful journey.
—————————
Finally I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Goa is calling! Kali River Basin Forest is beautiful, but it is not on my agenda right now, it is scheduled for the next weekend. I want to reach Goa ASAP!

Day:1
Spent 70% of our time idling on Calangute Beach. A huge advantage of staying a minute away from the beach 🙂

—————————
Drove to Anjuna Beach, Vagator Beach. One of the best things about Goa is that you can hire a 2-wheeler 🙂
—————————
Sunset Cruise in Panaji. Get tickets to upper deck, order few drinks, put up your feet, and relax!

Day:2
When in Goa, Water Sports are inevitable; and so is bargaining.
We bargained hard, and got a really great deal 🙂

Idling at Sinquerim, shooting the sunset

Day-3 : 23rd Feb, 2010
—————————
Last day in Goa, spent the day at Baga Beach.
—————————
Damn, how/why did these 4 days end so soon? We’ll be back soon, we promised ourselves.
