Helping Hand

The addiction with 55 continues…

Raj was the go-to man for Alka. Sitting on the rooftop she said, “I’ve to tell you something”

Raj’s heartbeat quickened, “Has she finally understood my feelings?”

“I’ve been seeing Kapil for five months… I need your help in taking the plunge”.

Raj acquiesced, took her words to heart, and pushed her off the ledge.

    Rama, you sound sadistic!

@nks, it was, but inspired by real life incidents we frequently keep reading in newspapers.

Sangfroid, yup.. everybody should avoid such “helping hands”

manuscrypts, great word play.. Raj did get pushy 🙂

Chittaranjan, it _is_ sadistic, but as I said earlier, this is inspired by multiple real life incidents 😦

Alosh, I’ll keep them coming.. best past about 55 is that it takes hardly 2-3 minutes to pen down anything once the thought strikes 🙂

“this is inspired by multiple real life incidents”

Don’t tell me you er..umm…lent the ‘helping hand’ to someone taking the plunge in the past 😐

  14. 18 Kunal March 19, 2009 at 10:22 am

Chittaranjan, nah dude.. I am not that sadistic.. I am talking about similar incidents that keep popping up in the newspapers frequently.. with headlines similar to “disgruntled lover kills girl and ends own life” … you will find multiple variations to it in the newspaper.
