Is rediff following ToI?

Why is rediff getting so cynical? I generally like the articles that are put up in rediff, well written and unbiased. But two articles stuck a wrong chord with me. Check these out:

On Agassi’s retirement

Agassi plays Serbian Boris Pashanski in the Wimbledon first round in what will be his final match at the grasscourt grand slam if he loses.

On Zidane

Zidane was booked in France’s first two games in the tournament and was suspended for the 2-0 win over Togo in their Group G decider, which would have been his last match had France failed to qualify.

The emphasis is mine…
