The flowers stand for the blogosphere, pristine, fresh and ever-so-pleasant. The leaves be the social media sphere....you know, the Farcebook, Chirkut, Fodderfeed, Bitter, Bew, Low5 etc etc....all ravaged & chewed up by the sheer number of people on them!
