Experiment with Water

Aim: To capture a decent photograph of falling water.

Apparatus Required: Falling water, Camera, Picasa to Edit

Steps:

  • Locate a dripping tap.
  • Set the camera to extreme close-up.
  • Start timing the drops.
  • Click at the calculated instant.
  • Move away immediately to protect the camera from water.
  • Edit as per need.

Result:

    Kunal, try to get one of those pics that we saw in Resnick Halliday Physics book … a dart gun hits a Baloon full of water and the pre and post burst pictures of the baloon ..

    Rakesh, all I have is a very very basic camera… For the photographs you want all the normal cameras in the market would be hapless… I doubt any of them would be able to capture such a photo …
    Anyways I’ll be uploading more pictures soon … :)
