Kunal
Great post....I was thinking of doing it myself but couldn't find time.
I would rate this trip as one of my best wildlife expeditions and it was great that in spite of the wanning numbers 3 of us could make it and have an experience of lifetime.
To my mind only Corbett comes close to Sunderbans on diversity of flora and fauna and adventurism.

Maruti, I would suggest Sunderbans to only the nature lover and wildlife enthusiast. For the normal tourist it would not be that much fun.

Himank, yeah I enjoyed a lot :)

vishu, that was the best part about Sunderbans. it was really clean.

asr, costs depends on the number of people that go. the tourism through where we booked, for 2N-3D package they charge 10K for 2 people, 6K for 3-5 people, 5K for 6-7 people, 3K for >10 people group. more the number of people, lesser the cost ... check out the website of help tourism - they have all the information...
