Guy1: Hey did you see The Departed?
Guy2: Yeah, awesome movie man! Loved it.
Guy1: Yeah dude, no time to think, no time to analyze the movie, it just kept surging ahead!
Guy2: That’s what I loved about it - Martin Scorsese had his foot on the gas, and he never let off. And what great acting!
Guy1: I especially loved Leonardo DiCaprio (LDC), never knew he could act this well.
Guy2: LDC was good but he looked an amateur in front of Jack Nicholson (JN).
Guy1: JN was scary. Remember that scene when he walks in the bar covered in blood and nonchalantly asks LDC to leave.
Guy2: That is one thing I did not like about the movie… Too much gore!
Guy1: Who asked you to go with your girlfriend?
Guy2: That was a mistake 
And even the language! Had I seen this movie with any of my family members, they would not have needed a pan to make an omelet.
Guy1: So what else do you expect from a crime movie? There had to be at least two ‘f*ck’ in every sentence.
Guy2: The dialogue writers must have surely exhausted all conceivable ways of using f*ck in your vocabulary.
Guy1: You know the Indian directors can learn one thing from Martin Scorsese.
Guy2: Gah! What an under-statement; but go on… What do you have in mind?
Guy1: When the cops or criminals shot, they did not talk. Did you notice no guy came back from the dead! Martin Scorsese heeded to the advice Bruce Willis received in Die Hard, “Next time you have a chance to kill someone, don’t hesitate!”
Guy2: You remind me of the scene where LDC has Matt Damon in his clutches, the elevator door opens and BOOM! LDC is dead. 30 seconds more and 2 more guys have kicked the bucket. All headshots!
Guy1: This CS thing has addled your brains. People were being killed and you noticed headshots? But leave that… You know we have been talking about “The Departed” for a while now and this is the first time we mentioned Matt Damon (MD)!
Guy2: MD was good, actually too good. He was supposed to not stand out, being a mole getting noticed easily is suicidal. He played his part to perfection, he was never doubted - he played the role of model cop to perfection.
Guy1: The one cop who stood out was Mark Wahlberg.
Guy2: Gosh! I had almost forgotten him. You just had to love that guy. Getting on someone’s nerves so easily has to be an art! And in the end when he kills MD, he was wearing plastic over his shoes. That was one smart cop, leaving no traces at all - a perfect murder.
Guy1: Leave apart everything, I learnt an important lesson after watching this movie.
Guy2: What?
Guy1: The worst job profile is of a mole. High-pressure job, oodles of tension, and in the end you get knocked off.
