For a really pathetic reason for a movie[read Sainikudu], an otherwise serious wisecracking reviewer[read Jeevi] had inexplicably chosen altogether not to review the movie(!). And of course who can forget the Rediff reviews where its now a official norm; every big movie gets two reviews: one bad and one good. Safe play! sreejith, IMDb is good, but not that good when it comes to a Hindi movie… and yeah I have written on Departed…

Would rather go by IMDB's rating, which is rather safe even though its is only a statistic. Parry, I've seen 'The Departed'. Its really really good but personally i feel its a little overrated on IMDB. Certainly not worth being in the top 100 especially because its a remake. Guess everyone gives it a higher rating because of the Scorsese effect :) Leonardo did give a stellar performance and Nicholson gives ample proof of why he is considered one of the acting greats. You seem to have an alternate career in research branches of marketing firms :). Write a review for Departed ... would like to write a big comment of my perspective since i wont write my own post (yeah .. i have given up blogging and since i have given up i am not going to write a post explaining that i have given up since that would just contradict and be a paradox .. weird .. i know :) ) Now this is what i call a good survey.
